The Route 46 Transport Cafe Truck Stop Lorry Park is located some 6 miles from the M5 Junction 9 on the A46. Leaving the M5 and proceeding on the A46 towards Evesham you pass Ashchurch Military base before passing the B4079 intersection. A mile or so later you arrive at a roundabout where the A435 & B4077 intersect. Further down the A46 and opposite Ashton Under Hill Village the Route 46 Cafe is on the right hand side after a slow right hand dropping bend, you can see the BP sign (and national grid power lines) which is shown in the image on this page very easily no matter which direction you approach. The entrance is wide and easy and located about 3 miles from Evesham.

HGV overnight parking is £9.00 bare with shower or £13 with £7.00 meal voucher.
This sign can be seen on approach. The power lines are on the M5 side of the cafe.
Caravans & Mobile homes can be parked overnight for £9-00 dated November 2006. Normal Small caravans or Mobile homes who eat their meals in the Cafe get a very fair deal indeed with reduced parking fee. Ask at the counter when ordering a meal for a pleasant surprise. Childrens meals available. Children are expected to conduct themselves in a correct manner.

The Route 46 has a nice location being positioned 6 miles from the M5 motorway Junction 9, and three miles from Evesham. The lorry park has quite a good surface, which would/should suit Car Transporters that have a low-slung carriage. I think those drivers would be more than happy.
The actual Transport Cafe itself has long opening hours, which are always a godsend on that horrible winters night when your running out of driving hours and need that not too far off the motorway facility, which can deliver you a hot meal, and quiet parking for the night, also fuel up the tractor unit at any hour of the day or night. A garage shop is also situated on the Fuel Station for those very late arrivals. I suggest you phone in if you are running close to the last meals now time,,, I am sure some flexibility will be afforded if you give the Cafe a ring.
Coach drivers can also get their passengers fed and watered, again a phone call ahead is appreciated and does ensure that all gears are engaged to serve your passengers. You will see that there are two or three areas which serve customers, a separate small coffee bar and then a larger general public Cafe,,, Plus the professional drivers Transport Cafe which is very smart and shown in a photograph on this page. The signposts are also shown where you enter the door, allowing you to choose which cafe you would like to use. Even though I am retired I always use Transport Cafes, they have gota be the best!
