Directions
We are located approximately half a mile off the A9 (heading north) at the Newtonmore turn-off.
We are easily found on the left hand side before the village of Newtonmore.
The Newtonmore Grill is 500 yards from a petrol station which is easily accessed for lorry drivers.
Heading south the same quiet southerly approach can be used for HGV which saves going through Kingussie on the north entrance.

We are very popular with the locals for our competitive prices and freshly prepared home cooked food. We have a varied manu always available.
Facilities
We also have a fully licensed bar which is open till midnight most nights or until the bar is emptied! Meals can also be ordered in the bar after closing hours.
We have newly refurbished shower cubicles and toilets for men and women.
We are in the process of installing wood burning stoves for extra comfort on very cold nights.
Owners comments
We run our establishment for drivers, and we appreciate the importance of fast, quality, home cooked food.
We have stated on our menu that at busy spells drivers will be served first due to their strict time schedules.
On several occasions we have received a call from drivers letting us know that they are running late for closing time and we stay open for them.
We would never close on time knowing that a driver was needing a hot meal and maybe a pint late at night. We have parking spaces for around 35 lorries.

The above wording is always good news to that driver heading north or south especially in the winter months.
Weather in this area can be very bad, blizzards can block the roads and safe haven is sort. I can personally testify to such conditions which many readers of this would not be able to appreciate without the experience.
The police send drivers to The Newtonmore Grill Transport Stop when the roads are closed, here there is safe haven from the blizzards that can engulf the region. On behalf of drivers I thank the owners for being good people in such times of need.
