Introduction

The Albion Truck Stop has new owners, now an Ex Lorry Driver and his wife have taken over this well located Transport Cafe, Lorry Park. It is located in the village of Ashcott near Glastonbury and also near Bridgewater Somerset, on the A39 off Junction 23 of the M5. Peter & Glynis are the new owners. Transport Cafe.co.uk wishes them well and all the drivers who call in. We need good Transport Cafes.

Webmaster Report: Owners Statement as follows:

The Albion Inn & Truckstop, has new(ish) owners, we are Glynis & Peter, (a former truck driver) we took over the Albion in August 2004. There were interim owners from 2003 until 2004. Before then long term owners had the Albion.

We would like to tell the drivers that we are trying to get it back as it was, or better.

We also do daily specials, ranging from homemade bubble & squeak & liver bacon & onions with veg (from £3.75 June 2005 dated).
