For Traffic coming from London’s direction, routing via the A130 then A131 will get you on the A120 Braintree Bypass and Main road through to Harwich.

Directions

Coming from the west on the A120 at Braintree, at the 2nd roundabout take a left turn (1st exit)
This puts you on Pods Brook Road heading north
At the next roundabout go straight across
This puts you on Springwood drive
On the left hand side some few hundred yards up you can see the small lorry park and Springwood grill sign

The whole establishment is fresh & clean and very relaxing; the menu has good choice with ample food on the plate. The air conditioning was noticed, as was the standard of equipment for cooking, very good indeed. Given the showers with their plush tiles and ample shower space, all nice and clean, the toilet facilities are in the same vein, I am sure drivers will be please to spend a night at this location.

Lorry Parking is available for about 30 HGV's on good standing, council owned and FREE!

ON opening day this Transport Cafe raised a lot of cash for charity, which is really nice, see this cutting from the local newspaper.
The Showers Area and individual Showers ablutions will also attract drivers wanting good conditions and a concerned management.
