(Old Photogrpahs) Multi Drop, all Professional Drivers & Borg Extensions

The professional drivers likeness to Borg, a super fictional sentient entity in the Star Trek series Voyager, is the ability to actually feel that the Truck (vehicle) is a part of them.
A driver feels every part of the road through his/her vehicle, being at one with this powerful machine is an ART developed with time and experience.
Drivers are more often individuals who dislike the confines of office or factory life, so they are far from Borg and the opposite of automaton in that respect, yet there is a kinship, but only in this ability which, is like an art and especially needed when the road conditions are bad.

Transport Cafe's are fewer than years ago; little chef and the like have swallowed many good Transport Cafes and Truck Stops. The small businessman with his transport cafe has all to often Disappeared from the roadside, now many mobile services are appearing, is this a new trend?

If you see Grahams Transport cafe M5 junction 24 on the Cafe list of this site, you will see the cabin construction of the original cafe in about 1940, also the today photograph. Some present day mobiles have become essentially static. Perhaps change is in progress also for them. This would depend on themselves, opportunity, local authorities, and you, the customer, professional drivers and travellers

I hope the below few words can be a calming influence on those who read this,,, Tail-gate-ing is dangerous and we all know that. A good professional driver is in reality driving all the vehicles in front and behind him/her, as is possible.
Anticipation
what is the other fellow going to do.
There are a heck of a lot more inconsiderate car drivers, than there are truck drivers, that's because HGV driver's or any professional driver has to be better and of course, is more qualified.
HGV drivers know that we can usually anticipate another professional driver, but you CANNOT anticipate the idiot, also we must be careful by not getting to close to cars, even those that block your way in the second lane of the motorway. Flash them or whatever, but don’t tailgate, it makes us as bad as them
Report them to the police when you can at a services stop, or voice activated hands free mobile phone.
It can save lives
Be one of the best, don’t tailgate. Hoot like hell from afar, but don’t tailgate, someone loves you and everyone else on the road.
