Coach Driving and Coaches Photographs
Coaches or Buses that is the Question

Coach Photographs (or Bus).

There’s nothing wrong with the word "Bus". As a lad I went on many buses to the seaside (coast), climbing the roads over the Welsh Hills the engine would boil, they all did on a hot summers day, they were all the same, every bus did it. Good old Midland Red Bus Company. on one hill the passengers often had to get out and walk the last few hundred yards, so the bus could get to the top, and we were all a lower average weight in those days
Coaches seems to be a Posher word, however it is often used to essentially indicate a touring bus, a better fitted out bus, made for long journeys. I remember some buses had spokes in the wheels and wooden slatted seats, of course they would not use one of these for a seaside trip or long journey. I lived on a private estate and in 100+ houses, which was the whole estate, one person had a car. Of course the nearer you lived to the person with the car, the posher you were, such can be the middle English mentality, pomposity is the kin here, (before you get on your trolley I am English).
Today its 4 wheel drives they gota have. A no consideration and a 4 wheel drive society, Gas (petrol) guzzlers. See them all out on a Saturday and Sunday with all the kids, like the TV add, looking like plastic photographs in the window, Gord help us. Whoops! got on me trolley then. Where are those nice old buses or coaches, I would like to get a photo of a trolley bus or old tram, both of which I had the pleasure of using as a child.

The above photo was taken from a British Satellite approximately 300 miles above the earth.
As you can see the resolution is much better than American Satellites.
This was the new British satellite launched in October 2002 and code named, "Sky View"..

Dusk on an English Lake, well I have tried hard here to put a page up without HGV for a change, so I have two scenes here taken in England at Dusk, below between two Oak Trees. The colour is as it was, just like flame.
