The BBC not quiet all at sea,, this was a flooded river,, then they had the fire brigade take them, must be just in case they jump out of the pan into the fire, well if it were hot water they would be used to it,,, and this time it might be better than cold,,, My personal opinion of the BBC is that it is a fine institution,,, however,,,,,,, in recent years it had and perhaps still has ( I must watch them), become involved in reporting not always facts.

For many reports in my opinion,, inexactitude seemed to be a mandatory discipline, treating matters with a shallowness that offends any thinking person. I became drawn to the thought that the news had become like a TV soap, where plucking away a few words from a persons utterings, presented the oration with attention getting drama,,, the fact that it then became totally inaccurate seemed to escape those in high office. In my opinion the BBC might have been the best,,, of a bad bunch,, but it became attracted to lower standards and was suckered into biting the apple.

When I listen or watch the news, I,, like other humble listeners,, want to know not just what was said,, but what was meant by the sayer,,, (poets license there),,, it seemed to me that the media has made an art form from divorcing those two important points,,, we want to know what the person meant, not a twisted version by omission of some of the words. Phewwwww!
