Barnikel Transport en route to another job, father and son teaming up together. Now tell me what young man does not want to be a lorry driver,, it’s a great attraction, being in charge of that big machine, so when your driving around where young people are looking at you, be aware that many are looking in envy at you and your HGV, and the white van man is making his or her way there.

Once you have arrived there with your ticket, take your time, ask around for that well paid job,, decent conditions,, check your answers, find out where the grass is greener, or the shade you like, double check, then keep trying until you arrive there, and remember, there are many shades of green that are suitable!

Scania of Belgium, I hope to produce a page or two of interesting Scania trucks very soon,,, I have to say that the facilities these days, in a modern cab, is better than my car,,, We have Safeway with their new Scania Gas powered truck,, no vertical take off yet,,, however chaps,, heed this warning, truckers are being fined for speeds over 40 MPH, caught by dirty estate cars with high tech equipment inside, UNMARKED, if in doubt, don’t drive over 40PMH,, if great Britain comes to a halt, the government will have to change the law.

Lets consider a bus or coach, it can do 60MPH as a car does,, it can weigh 15 tones, twice that of a 7.5 ton+ which has to do 40MPH.
A van over 2 tons MLW is 50 MPH while the 15 ton bus does 60 mph.

Where do the Police radar traps set up for business, it must be in a built up area where there is danger,,, nope!
Then it must be at dodgy junctions,,, Nope!
How about the motorway where it’s a 70 limit for cars ,,,,, goodness me Nope!.
Ok I give in where do they set up a mobile secret unmarked radar trap,,,,
Heck in the open of course, where visibility is good, clear from junctions, in a nice lay-by inconspicuous,,,, where else silly!!!! I mean they don’t want to stop people driving faster in a dangerous area,,, that would be no fun, and ulcerative, errrr! I mean un-lucrative, OK both for them perhaps,,

We may be coming to the time when every HGV driver drives at 40MPH all day for one day,,, just to make the logical and reasonable point about speed limits for HGV and traps in UNMARKED VEHICLES.

I have one mail from a driver who says his mate was stopped by the police for going to slow at 40mph,,, he was told to pull in a lay-by, heck that would be fun all day, hey ho, what would the boss say then,, sat tracker or not,, just refer to the cop! well if you have a ticket it has to be all day every day at about 37mph to be safe,, so if you go to fast its wrong and if you drive just under 40MPH its wrong, I personally think we are heading for a revolt again!

Persil washes whiter,,, smart vehicle, clean and en route in the UK.

Scania, Belgium, long line
Scania Belgium, Long Line model, quite a beastie! are they headlights
or landing lights, very smart.

1991 Peterbilt
This truck stopped outside my driveway asking for directions, said he had taken the wrong turn at long Island docks,,,
I told him it was best he just kept going straight on as he had come this far,, turn right a bit at Tong sow ching! .... the fellow just drove off,
quick like,,,, left a grove in my driveway,,,, if you see registration number 9A55339 don’t try and stop him yourself,,
call the phone operator and ask for the Bush Telegraph, careful to say "Howdy" slowly!
Seriously what a nice vehicle, thanks to ? for sending it in from the USA.

Big Trucks
NO! its not a gas cooker! its clean and green, I bet the cab has a waitress service, sat TV,
iced cool drinks machine, with straws, and old pennies for the gas meter. Seriously a nice looking vehicle. Safeway Boss
Looks as if the Safeway boss got a look over the cab first,,, he heard about the waitress service,, BBC newsreader at work
Frankly Services on the M5,,, Hard work this BBC news reading,,, waiting for those tech chaps to get it sorted,,, why not give a shout at them,,, well I mean,, its at least 15 minutes since I had coffee,,, If I am misrepresenting her,,, god bless me,,, I thought that’s what the news was for,, ginger it up a bit,,, gets the viewers attention,,, so she didn’t shoot (I mean shout), bless her, what’s that got to do with it,,, never let the truth stand in the way of a good line,,, didn’t they say that!
