The Truckhaven Carnforth is a HIGH Security Transport Cafe and Truck Stop which also caters for Coaches. It deserves to be mentioned first by Les Bury who mailed me the following words,,,This is a very good stop, I will always try and make The Truckhaven at Carnforth,, plenty of clean showers and good food and a pint if you want one.
It must be the robotic brush that keeps the place nice Les!
HGV Driver John of G Owen & Sons Newtown also has told me this is a stop which has good food.
I have a report from John of TNT out of west Brom,,, excellent food always,,, relaxing atmosphere,,, good overnight stop. John is a TNT driver taking Kingsmill Bread north.
Directions
Truck Haven is NOW clearly marked on the M6, before and also at junction 35 near Morecambe, signs are clear for the two minute ride from Junction 35.

I called in here in August 2003,,,(2007 called in again all still as good, ALL staff very friendly) I ordered a dinner,,, it was excellent,, and you busy active truckers would be pleased with the quantity, it was too much for me. The place is clean and shiny as per the first call.
Below are some photographs I took of Truckhaven Carnforth. This is one of the best Transport cafes in the UK. Inside you can see the place shines, again that’s what a Driver wants, a nice relaxing atmosphere..... Here is a triple plus,, it has accommodation available, all to the same smart standard, all en suite facilities and TV, coffee/tea making in your own room.
I noticed on my call that many businessmen and women use Truck Haven to eat and sleep, good value, low price, clean, that’s what a knowledgeable traveller wants. I have included a picture of the hall leading to the Cafe, and shop, because it is striking how clean the whole place is, full marks again.
The large forecourt is conveniently divided into retail and commercial areas, to cater for all types of vehicle. The retail area dispenses Esso products, whilst the high speed commercial pumps cater for holders of both Keyfuels/Diesel Direct and Securicor Fuel serve cards. The high canopy (5 metres) ensures that even the largest vehicles can be quickly and safely refuelled. Free air and water services are available, whilst the Forecourt Shop stocks a wide range of convenience items, snacks, drinks and motor products. A comprehensive selection of lubricants is also available.
