The Transport Cafe operation is OPEN under new management from middle of 2008 & looking very good! The staff are very friendly and keen to give the drivers a good relaxing meal whilst their HGV's etc remain in a secure Lorry Park
The Crewe Truck Stop is a new operation with an excellent fenced Lorry Park with all night security guard (see photo list) & Transport Cafe. For none sat nav drivers on the M6 A500 A534 or A5020 in the Crewe, Nantwich region it's easy access. Located 11 minutes from junction 16 on the M6. Follow the A500 from Junction 16 to the first roundabout where the A531 and A5020 intersect. Go right on the A5020 which goes through two roundabouts before reaching the Truck Stop on the left. This is located just before a third roundabout which is the A534 intersection,,, so if you miss the truck stop in Cowley Road (signposted truck stop) you can go around the roundabout and return some 100yds and turn right.
From these directions you can judge the turn if you are on the A534 from any direction or the A5020. The road is uncluttered and wide in this area.

The postcode is excellent for this location if you don't have the Transport Cafe poi list/file download from this website. Just enter Cowley Way after the postcode and then you are in the cul de sac road which has the truck Stop at the end.

Parking for about 120 trucks initially and 24hrs security.

This operation opened in April 2007! Its now October 2008. New facilities are being brought in as I write this text,, however the Transport Cafe is with new management and in sparkling condition. Please read the Transport Cafe details. This is a well located Lorry Park in a good location with good parking surface in herringbone style layout, this is an arm and a leg job in cost but good for parking on and maintenance.

This is a Independent operation and keenness is obvious and a desire to keep the place smart. If in doubt about the hours of operation please give them a ring and ask, number provided on this page.

- Wintery Night at Crewe Truck Stop (700kb image download suitable for wide screen 22inch). While Drivers sleep blustery winds and fine rain gust about causing this effect on this photograph taken at night. Drivers secure in their Trucks while the security guard keeps out a weather eye,, using night vision high resolution cameras. Then there is a good tuck in at the Transport Cafe before you settle down for a good nights sleep.

Tried out the neww cafe last week23/11/07 Security is excellent. Fully gated park. Very friendly owners and the food is very very good. I had a great lunch of liver onion and bacon plus 3 veg and a cupa all for a £5.00. ITs worth the 10 minutes drive from the M6 anytime,, if I am around there I will use it again.
