English Countryside, an Edwardian House followed by Biddulph Hall & connections to the Society we live in
Photographs of the English Countryside and its Buildings are extremely varied; this is in part due to the dynamism of the British Isles, its buildings, landscapes, variable weather and its effect on the landscape. The long distance driver sees all these views and panoramas, he or she has that one great joy of daily seeing the wonderful planet we live on, apart from the horrors and lack of understanding they receive on the roads in that same land.
Greed has often removed large gardens from nice homes to allow another building to be built, so that both properties can be sold and the owner moves on to buy another property that seems fair game for another commercial gain, the concrete jungle grows in size, whilst the owners of these houses don’t even know each other, insular communities are even more a product of society at the time of writing this in 2005.
The further south you get in England the more insular society is, and the more important money is in their lives (as a generalisation), the further north in Britain or away from the cities and commuter range you are, the more people will talk to each other, the more quality of life becomes the value to aim at, and sufficient is enough of everything. I am aware that the exception proves the rule and apologise to those kind people who always make an effort to talk to their neighbours in the street or lane in which they live, wherever they are.
