Highway Star Transport Cafe

Truck Stop Transport Cafe Lorry Park
The Highway Star can be used by a few HGV's but not designed for them as of yet, plenty of space when tourists are not about I should imagine. Seems popular with locals. Easy for WVM (white van man) & general public. This elevation can be seen when approaching from the west on the A40.

Truck Stop Transport Cafe Lorry Park
The Highway Star showing the simple entrance in as another option if Eastbound only. Parking can be parked hard to the left as we see from the photo. The image below shows the ways out if you use this option.

Directions

If westbound Exit the A40 at the A4137 intersection, cross over the A40 bridge and turn left into the cut across or filter lanes, then left again,,, and in almost the length of your artic turn right into the Old Ross Road, which runs alongside the Cafe parking complex. Parking on the right hand side should be easy especially on this little used road. You can rejoin the A40 again, either direction, in about 700yards/mtrs.

If Eastbound you can do the same rejoin, but,, simply exit at the A4137 intersection and turn left immediately, you will need a wide-ish swing as it tends to double back at an angle into the Old Ross Road.
