Tesco & John Weir Cumbria Transports HGV
Dedicated HGV Drivers bringing the goods to us all

John Weir logo Photographs on this page

John Weir Transport from Cumbria & Stephen Hurst with Tesco plus other supermarkets like Sainsbury’s (both shown here) bring the requirements of life to us daily. Its a hard job, stressful, having to tolerate daily the bad and inconsiderate drivers on our roads.
When you enter a roundabout and proceed to the exit you require, give a thought for HGV trying to enter the roundabout also from his entry point, DONT RACE to your exit, proceed gently and with care and consideration for others, allowing filtering to take place and so slotting into the rolling traffic, easily, and remember that the HGV cannot race out and proceed, he or she has to wait for that long slot or considerate driver, who might flash him/her to go ahead, meaning I wont race!
I have seen HGV's being honked by terrible car drivers, when they have proceeded well in time and in advance of more traffic appearing from out of sight,, I have watched and felt despair at modern society and the generally 4 wheel drives that try and force their way everywhere, or BMW's Merc's and other large cars, as if they have some god given right to push everyone aside. Please forgive me if you are a considerate BMW or other driver, my statement is a generalisation, and you yourself will be aware of the stigma that is attached to many fuel guzzling cars,, I know ell that many good and considerate drivers exist amongst that group, but, you are in the minority.
Roundabout over takers, inside and out exist,,, you must wait for the vehicle in front to choose his or her lane,, if you overtake or undertake and have a crunch or serious crash, YOU WILL BE IN THE WRONG and DANGEROUS DRIVING WILL BE ATTACHED TO YOUR ACTION.
