Suzies (Suzie's) Transport Cafe
(Truck Stop) Actually a GOOD Snack Bar on the A485 & A482

Location Details

Arriving from the south pass the junction where the A485 meets the A482 in about a hundred yards you cross the small river bridge and the Co-op car park is on your right,, HGV's stop on the road for a take away, WVM and cars can use the car park.

Arriving from other directions check your map and above directions and its easy to place Suzies.

Lampeter has no Transport Cafes per se but Suzie's (Suzies) does supply (for about ten years) a good service to the passing HGV or WVM or Traveller. It is a fixed mobile in the car park of the Lampeter Co-operative supermarket where tables are available outside to have a cooked breakfast if required,, and good it was too. Suzies is very well liked by locals from miles around.

Suzie remains the name of this good service but sad to say she and her husband are no longer with us. The operation is now run by Sylvie and staff who keep up the good service. The name Suzies (Suzie's) remains the same,, no doubt in tribute to this,,, special to the locals operation.

Directions

Suzies Transport Cafe Truck Stop location is as follows, approaching Lampeter from the south on either the A485 or the A482 you approach and cross the bridge to enter the buildings area. STOP on the roadside just before the billboard sign on the off side footpath. A red waste bin can be seen in the photographs below, the board is located on the footpath by this bin. You can see the mobile on the other side of the footpath in the car park. Personally I might phone my order ahead if wanting to be efficient

If you enter Lampeter from the northern side then pass through the town towards the A482 and A485 intersection, you can see the buildings end followed by the last building on the near side, which is the co-op. You may be able to enter the park if you have a smaller goods vehicle, otherwise just stop on the roadside as all the local drivers do. Laybys are available on all entry or exit roads to Lampeter so you can stop and enjoy your rest period in good countryside.

Suzies Transport Cafe Truck Stop In Lampeter has to be rated at the top level of mobiles, so don´t hesitate to stop. Refreshment for drivers in this region is rare, the location of this mobile is convenient and possible for HGV as a quick stop to collect refreshment, many do so who are familiar with the area.

Less than 3.5 tons can enter the park most of the time, and at none busy shopping times park at the back. Sylvia and staff have a good cheerful attitude and good food, they have some sit down in fine weather facilities, and a first class breakfast tuck in, people from all walks of life use Suzies Transport Cafe mobile which is really good to see in the far to often pretentious society we live in.
