This Transport Cafe, Lorry Park was previously called the Halfway House Truck Stop, the owners have retired and the ownership has changed. Lorraine has returned dated July 2007.

The whole establishment is extremely clean and the kitchen is fully visible from the serving counter. This whole facility may be perfect for technicians away from home on contract work, as well as the HGV driver who has his wife or girl friend with him for a night out, the double rooms are more spacious than those I have seen in motorway stops.

Newcott Services Cafe Lounge room which is very comfortable.

Home cooked meals are a strong point here, with traditional food being very popular, this has to be a stop to try when passing or in need of accommodation overnight.

Good Transport Cafes are now attracting a cross section of the general public, of course HGV drivers when travelling will call into Transport Cafes with their families, so the general public can be and is also "You", plus those who have seen the better standards offered, good wholesome food, salads and vegetarian coverage are strong points in go ahead Transport Cafes.
