Steve the boss, well his wife might be the real boss,, I must get her photo the next visit.!

The Manchester Transport Cafe was itself called the riverside cafe, now it has been renamed Diggles Diner, this view is from the yard, Oh! dont go sleep walking chaps, great view though.
Address Details/Location.
This Transport Cafe was started in about 2004 at the site of the old cafe building. Its location is Trafford park near the football ground. It is very important that you route in and out via junction 9 on the M60 which is the manchester M Way Ring road. Even if your sat nav says go another way,,, DONT,,(unless you know a good route from the north east side) you will regret the traffic and traffic lights if you do. When exiting the Lorry Park unless you are going into Manchester centre use the M60 junction 9 again or you may add at least 30 minutes to your journey.
At junction 9 turn inwards to Manchester on the A5081 which is park way
It then becomes village way,,
it then becomes Wharfside way,
On next roundabout take 2nd exit down Warren Bruce Link Road,
Turn right at bottom and transport cafe is on the nearside through fenced gate before tall modern museum
Rank Hovis (Tall building) is on offside of road further down also
Secure overnight parking available while you eat at Steves Transport cafe, he did call it The Riverside Transport cafe now in December 2006 the new building has a new name, DIGGLES DINER, Whatever,,, we list it as the Manchester Truck Stop Lorry Park & Transport Cafe

Webmaster Comments
The Manchester Lorry Park Truck Stop and Transport Cafe is owned by Steve and his wife and from what I can judge they really care about drivers, Steve having been one himself understands the needs of the HGV driver and White Van Man. He has a nice place that seems to be growing all the time from when he first opened it. This facility also has an advanced Truck & Tank Wash for all those tanker drivers who need to clean up for another load, all provided on the one site,,, whilst the driver gets watered and fed ready for the road again, all good news for everyone, the transport manager or driver owner and the employed driver all can get a decent break at a Cafe where they care.
Dont forget to come in from Junction 9 on the M60,,, if you're round on the East side of Manchester then you can route another shorter way but be aware that you may hit quite heavy traffic unless you know different.

Entrance from the Road for Manchester Lorry Park. Remember its good to phone ahead and ask for Steve.
