BEN, the automotive charity that provides care, support and advice to those in the automotive industry, has received a huge donation from the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) totalling £100,000.
The donation will be used to support the charity, enabling them to provide new furnishings and equipment for one of the houses in the new care centre in Ascot, Berkshire, which is currently being built. This project is planned to be complete at the end of October 2014.
“We are pleased to see that our donation is being used towards a positive and valuable cause in helping people from our industry,” said Alec Murray, RMI Chairman. “We hope to continue to work closely with BEN in the near future in supporting those in need of care”.
David Main, Chief Executive at BEN comments: “We are extremely grateful to the RMI for their generous donation towards this exciting new project. We always welcome any support that will help make a difference to the lives of the BEN family”.
