Shropshire Truck Show returns this weekend (September 6th and 7th) after a year’s break to its regular venue of Owestry Showground.
The 2014 show is sure to please with a first appearance from the incredible motorcycle display team The Royal Signals White Helmets as the stars of the show. Also featuring will be Back Draft, the world’s only wheelie fire engine!
Trucking Magazine and Truckstop News are media partners of the show again this year, as well as an impressive classic and vintage truck display to get snapping away at.
Show Director Jason Lunn said: “Last year’s break from the Owestry site has allowed them to develop the showground improving the roadways and toilets, and we are pleased to see a new grandstand in place for the main arena. We’ve had fantastic comments from everyone about our return to the venue and look forward to our new September date, which we hope will give us better weather!”
You can’t have a truck show without a celebrity guest, and Shropshire Truck Show has enlisted the help of a couple of Corrie actors. Making an appearance on the Sunday will be Jack P Shephard (David Platt) and Georgia May Foote (Katy Armstrong), ready to meet and greet all the visitors.
