A trucker from Stamford helped his mother say ‘I do’ last weekend by driving her to her wedding in his Volvo FH.
Darryl Lane, who works for David Harrison Haulage, polished up his white lorry ready for the big day and drove his mother to Woodland Waters – also known as Woody’s – on July 12th to tie the knot with his stepdad Brian.
He said: “I had the privilege of taking my Mum in the lorry I drive for work. It is named Diane Marie after her as she has made it possible for me to become a lorry driver.”
At Transport Cafe, we love to hear about your trucking tales and see all your snaps (new and old). Be sure to let us know about any other trucking-themed weddings or interesting outings at firstname.lastname@example.org.
