This webpage has no official connection to Rolba in any way, however I would be happy to forward any enquiries to them regards their snowblowers and excellent equipment.

Rolba Snow Blowers and snowploughs, some of these photographs were taken in the Alps in Austria. The person responsible was GREGORY HOLLIDAY, (click here to mail Gregory) Updated December 2003.. Gregory the Rolba Engineer who was based in London, now retired and lives in the London area.

My thanks to Gregory for all the snow blowers and snowploughs Photographs shown on these Rolba pages. This is the first a a few that will follow I shall add text to this page and the others that will follow, showing the different types of Snow Blowers or snowploughs. I understand that the number denotes the tons of snow per hour they can move. An R3000 can move 3000 tons of snow in one hour, whilst an R400 moves 400 tons per hour, both enough to make a good sized snowman...

Whoops! just a little slip here and its away all chocks.

This looks like the big R3000 attacking the drifts whilst the R400 lends a helping hand.

Those chains are really needed by these cliffs, One slip whilst reversing
on a three point turn (remember those) and it's hi ho silver

The R3000 at work eating into those big drifts at 3000 tons of snow per hour.
Wow! Getcha HGV under that!

Looking at these drifts gives me an idea !! cut blocks out,
sell them to the Eskimos to make big igloes!

The wind gets up as the snow is ejected into the valley
