As webmaster on Transport Cafe.co.uk I ask you to please be accurate and considerate of the reader. If a mail is not considerate I would have to put it in that great bin in cyber space. Webmaster Report
The Cafe is well staffed and they seem a happy bunch of ladies, keen to please the customer, just what a stressed driver needs. This Cafe used to be called the Redwood Transport Cafe when Sues Mum ran the establishment, which she did for about 16 years, now passed to Sue to continue the good work.
I observed many cars and white van men using the cafe, many businessmen seemed to like what was on offer as well as the HGV drivers, this is always a good sign. Toilets are nice & clean and fresh in both ladies and gents.
Owners Comments
We are a small 60 seat independent operator offering good value for money as well as tasty grub.
It is a friendly relaxed place where plenty of our regulars have called year after year.
We would welcome any new customers and look forward to seeing you.
Comments: Walon Transporters: HGV Driver keith Boyle
I work for Walon Transporter's, I have used this cafe for about 12 years & the staff are always pleasant & the food is top notch, nothing is to much trouble for them & the banter is very good. Dont tell to many people about this cafe as we may have trouble parking in future , well worth the 4 minutes it takes you to get off the A1M. Cheers Keith B.
