Webmaster Report
The T Bar is a sit in mobile being a 1952 long American shape mobile with the rounded roof ends, it is located on the north side of Craven Arms north of the Travellers Rest Inn.
I have passed the T-Bar quite a lot, HGV and travellers seem to be very satisfied with its service.
The lay by is on the near side northbound, but its an easy stop if you are north or south bound. Not many mobiles work on a Saturday, this one does in the summer. Glen & Val enjoy serving the knights of the road, Glen doesnt worry where the sauce bottle is (smile). Give them a phone call and book your eats as you approach. I have called in at this static and had an excellent breakfast with nice soft white bread hand cut, and an good mug of quality tea.
This diner is the nearest thing to an American Diner (much reduced in size) in the Uk, that is what an American diner used to be,, so any visitors from overseas I suggest you call in and enjoy memory lane in some respects. The atmosphere is good. To Uk callers, mums with families give them a phone call as you approach and see what’s cooking; I assure you the family will love it. Reps and white van drivers, HGV already have this place logged in,,, this is the place to call.
Now of BBC Lunch box fame as the T Bar was filmed for this TV programme, so this operation has now passed into the hall of BBC fame. The TV interview was very good and the T Bar came across very well as indeed it is! I am pleased for them.
