The Tea Lady (really husband and wife) is a very nice operation on the A702. This operation is located on the nearside (if your southbound) between Edinburgh and Abington. About 2 or 3 miles south of the B7059 intersection at West Linton, and about 2/3 miles north of the A721 intersection.
This route is worth taking for HGV or other transport heading south on the M74 or A74 into southern Scotland or England and the M6 motorway.
This is a nice clean operation run by husband and wife very happily. Why not make it a stop for you when your on this route. A large off road, lay back, layby, serves this operation.
The A702 connects to the M74 at Abington which is a famous Transport Cafe service stop of yesteryear, so many of you will know this spot well.
I think that now there is a only motorway service stop at Abington, unless you know different.
