Horse Drawn Carriage or Carriages
For that Serious or Special Occasion

The Royal Show and the Motor Show in the Uk were close together in time, so I have a mix here of vehicles from both, there is always something interesting.

I was quite attracted to this Old Bedford TP truck, you can see it has done some hard work, but if repainted mat black, with the gold and white trim it would be a beauty,, and the red wheels of course,,, someone is trying hard to run a horse business, not easy ever, in fact near impossible, the biggest slice of effort has to be for love,,, but love does not buy bread and cheese, sad to say! so when you use the wonderful service offered here, remember you are more than possibly getting very very good value for money, even if it seems expensive, which it may not do! looking after horses "well", is NOT cheap,, and needs that good percentage of love.

Staying in touch with ploughed ground, this useful vehicle could take you where others cannot reach, who knows,, all those enclosed 4 wheel drive owners may want one to impress the next door neighbours,,,, come to think of It,,,, a 4 wheel drive is slower, costs more to buy, costs more to run, more expensive parts when they go wrong…. Unless you need one and most don’t, you could be in need of a test!!!!!!!!!!!
Who said they like the sitting position, higher up,,, comfortable,,, can see more around you and over hedges,,,,,, well if that’s the case,, buy a "Van" the truth will out!

Skoda was a vehicle that turned most people off, then a German company bought it and now it’s a cracker of a car (meaning,, really good for our American readers). This one was at the motor show. Another small car is the Charade (Daihatsu), renowned for economy,,, followed by another small car with new looks,,, quite different. Then we have Renault, who make not bad cars (meaning, better than ok, for Americans), Suzuki made one of the below cars, you should be able to see which one.

The Highways Agency are taking over some of the jobs that Plod (meaning Police for Americans) did on our roads,,, they are trained with the police in part, and you will see more of them on our roads in the next few years, (west Mercia Police are quite ahead on this I think, so you should or may see more in this region at first) so the police can do other things, like catch criminals,,, or set up sneaky radar traps,,,, well it was just a thought!

My arms really ached after taking this last photo, getting close to him up there in the sky was quite a problem,,, then holding a camera still,,, all at about 1000 plus feet high,,, good job I was standing on the ground with my zoom lens! I needn’t have told you that and you would have all thought, what a difficult photo to take,,, did I mention I had to jump up!
