The driver with the truck DAF FX is Richard, better known as Richie, shown here on hire to Christian Salvesen’s Taunton depot. The truck was used to do night trunk to either Rowley Regis (Birmingham) or Houghton Regis (Dunstable) while the usual unit was being repaired. Richie works for them through an Ideal Personnel Agency in Taunton, his home QTH (QTH means location).
