Such an opportunity usually has a four-year waiting list – but through this auction, the highest bidder can jump right to the front of the queue!
The winner will have the chance to name the truck after whomever they choose during its three-year service. In addition, a canvas print of the personalised truck will be handed out to the winner along with the ability to keep track of it with the StobartFinder app.
The auction, hosted by online fundraising platform Givergy, will aim to raise as much money as possible for the Team BRIT – British Racing Injured Troops. The charity uses motorsport as a way of building the confidence and morale of veterans who have been severely injured when on duty – helping reach goals they never thought possible.
To be in with a chance of winning the prize, the bid must be made through the Givergy page which can be found here. The auction will close on Thursday the 22nd of September and bids must be made before then for them to be accepted.
Givergy’s global director of business development, Jon Douglas, said: “We are very excited to host such a unique auction and one that I am sure will attract a lot of bids for Team BRIT – British Racing Injured Troops.
“The money raised will enable the charity to continue the wonderful job of helping injured veterans re-shape their thinking and rebuild their lives.”
