Road King: New Hollies Transport Cafe History
The New Hollies Transport Cafe has been serving drivers since World War II. Gregory Peck – the famous actor – dined here in 1950.
Records show this was operating as a cafe for travellers before 1933, possibly making this the transport cafe in the UK with the longest contuinuous service.
